Data Processing, Information Auditor

Job Summary

The Information Auditor processes information needed for account reconciliation and assists with all other tasks as required to continue increasing skills. This position is advanced with supervision and requires basic computer skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accurately verify tax documents
  • Open taxpayer accounts in appropriate application
  • Audit and adjust quarterly payments to be sure they are applied to correct taxpayer account according provided documents
  • Refund or transfer money to Taxpayer, Other Collector or Employer as required
  • Do accurate advanced account maintenance with knowledge of how it affects the accounts and the system
  • Basic data research
  • Key data with 97% accuracy

Job Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Certifications

  • High school graduate or have an equivalency certificate (GED)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience with MS Office tools
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofing, listening, and grammar skills
  • Professional email expertise
  • Effective organizational & time management skills
  • Initiative and ability to operate independently
  • Positive attitude
