Larimer Township and Callimont Borough in Somerset County are merging into one local government. Callimont Borough will cease to exist, and both areas will now be defined under Larimer Township. Due to this change, the political subdivision (PSD) code for the entire jurisdiction will be 560304 (Larimer Township’s existing PSD code).
For Employers
Effective January 1, 2026, businesses must adjust this PSD to reflect this change when reporting earned income tax payroll withholdings, including 4th Quarter 2025 filing. That is, employees who were formerly under the old Callimont Borough PSD code must be updated in payroll withholding to the Larimer Township PSD code (560304).
For Residents
Beginning January 1, 2026, your employer must adjust this PSD to reflect this change when reporting earned income tax payroll withholdings or when filing quarterly if you are self-employed, including 4th Quarter 2025 filing. That is, employees who were formerly under the old Callimont Borough PSD code must be updated in payroll withholding to the Larimer Township PSD code (560304).
Pennsylvania law requires residents with earned income or net profits to file an annual local earned income tax return online or by mail on or before April 15. Even if you have employer withholding, you must still file a tax return. Keystone’s e-file is the quickest and easiest way to file.
